   Are you attempting to illustrate an illusion that the current warming preceded the rise in CO2? And that the CO2 increase is a result of this alleged prior warming?
   If you are, save your breath and I can’t even begin to tell you why because your knowledge of the subject is so severely lacking it would take you years to catch up.

   Are you trying to claim that there aren’t Viking remains under permafrost?

   As for warming preceding CO2 rises, there is evidence of that even in this current warming. Let’s face it, there was a significant early 20C warming. Who knows, maybe it’s true on ALL time-scales!

   Did I say that?? Where did I mention anything at all about Vikings?

   Look, warming has preceded CO2 in the ice core record. That does not infer that that’s the rule of law. As it has also occurred in the past that CO2 has risen before any evidence of warming. Nonetheless, you’re spending more time speculating and guessing with a really defunct knowledge of how the system works, DAVE.

   let’s see first we get ..the current warming preceded CO2 is an Illusion…then we get ..warming has preceded CO2 .. this must be the same science as more ice mean less ice or wet droughts and dry flood kind of science. then we get ..it has also occurred in the past that CO2 has risen before any warming… Good to know that CO2 has nothing to do with temperature..it is about time .

   The U.S. consumes 25% of the world’s energy and produces 25% of the waste, which is 10X more per capita than China and India.
   So, who should lead us out of this mess??

   Why are the fossil fuel industries and their deniers so totally against efforts to SLOW global warming???
   If they’re RIGHT that we’re beginning a cooling period, then any provisions that COST MONEY will be IMMEDIATELY SUSPENDED as soon as a cooling trend can be scientifically demonstrated.

    So exactly why is the burden on me because of your lack of ability to do research?
    The recent temperature rise can’t be explained by any other mechanism than CO2. The fall in temps in the last century between the 1940s and 1970s is coincident with a major increase in atmospheric aerosols, only until the Clean Air Act. After which, CO2 forcing predominated.
    These are findings so robust now in climate science because no alternative explanation that has been explored holds any water. Do some work.

    The burden of proof is on you because you are trying to displace a current hypothesis.

    Thus we get back to Vikings under permafrost, the proof that the warming is NOT unprecedented! No proxies, just plain evidence!

    This sucks because just like Republicans and issues, all they talk about is how someone’s ideas are wrong! Instead of thinking of new ideas on how to slow this warming down. Because people are in a real situation in which the warming is affecting there environment. The rise of the oceans, Rivers flooding , coral reefs bleaching, and future projections of droughts. It’s meaning less for someone to tell me that it’s only natural, when human expansion has a 110% effect on the earth!
