The thing is, what has been learned even the last year is quit astounding and is requireing a re-examination of a lot of those papers. This is normal science.
Best available, there are new studies coming out all the time and they affirm what the IPCC has reported.

1. It had been established at least 2 years ago, that co2 iteself, will not cause even a 2.0C rise in temps from doubling.
2. In a slab model, co2 would cause approx 1.0C of warming
3. In reality, because of the hydro cycle, it appears that co2 would cause 0.3C of warming.
A slab model is one in which nothing changes except co2. In the world, the climate changes by the second. That is why a slab model is used. That is not how climate works as it is a chaotic system. Hence the potential 0.3C rise per century for a doubling of co2. Remember, co2 is only a fraction of all greenhouse gases.
